Platform Requirements:
At this time, our newsletter service is available exclusively for clients with existing Constant Contact accounts. Your account stays fully in your control—we simply contribute one newsletter a month on your behalf. While we may expand to other email platforms in the future, we currently work only within Constant Contact environments.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should the Constant Contact account be in my name, not Modern Yellow’s?
Owning your Constant Contact account ensures you have full control over your contact list, email branding, and reporting. This means if you ever pause or change services, you still retain all your data and audience.
Can Modern Yellow just handle everything from their own account?
While it might seem easier, managing emails under our account would require importing your contacts into our system. That raises privacy concerns, limits transparency, and could affect your email deliverability. It’s better and more compliant to send emails directly from your own account.
What access does Modern Yellow need?
We ask that you add us as a user to your Constant Contact account (with email-building permissions, not billing). This allows us to log in, design your newsletter, add content and links, and schedule emails on your behalf—with your approval.
Do I need to manage anything?
Not much. Once we’re set up, you’ll just need to review and approve each email before it goes out. We handle the writing, design, and scheduling.
What if I don’t have a Constant Contact account yet?
No problem. We’ll help you get set up with a plan that fits your needs. You’ll manage billing directly with Constant Contact, but we’ll take care of the creative work.
What happens if I want to cancel the newsletter service?
You keep your account, your list, and all your email history. Nothing gets lost, and you’re free to continue using Constant Contact independently or with another partner.
